Hello, my lovelies! How is life treating you? Have you gotten your summer off to a good start? Anyone have health or fitness goals you're working toward that you want to share? Who's worked in a tip or two, over the past couple of months?...what did you do, and how is it working for you? Do tell...
I have been trying to slowly lose the baby weight plus some extra weight on top of that. I am just trying to be more active and cut back on calories. I too want to be more fit.
My goal is to get more sleep at night. I already eat pretty well and exercise regularly (I am a Clinical Exercise Specialist). But sleep deprivation is my pitfall. And, I know chronic sleep deprivation can lead to weight gain. My goal is to get at least 8 hour/night. I used to only get 5hrs/night.
Ladies, thank you so much for sharing!...I know it can be hard, sometimes, to be open about these things. Keep up the great work...we'll keep working on it together!
Hello, fellow Supermoms! I am a woman that wears many capes: wife, mother, daughter, friend, business professional, athlete, wine enthusiast and aspiring writer! Balancing these roles while finding happiness and fulfillment for myself does seem to require superhuman skill sometimes. Project Supermom was born as an outlet for me to share my story and to encourage other moms to take personal responsibilty in getting the best out of life for themselves and their families!
I have got my summer to an amazing start. I started bootcamp in April and have since then lost 6.5% body fat and 8.5 inches.
ReplyDeleteMy next goal is to do the couch to 5k program, hoping to get that done by the end of the summer.
